\"Worship\"I love worship creation! Whether creating a service alone or in collaboration with others, the\u00a0 worship service is an art of casting a vision through art, music, readings, story and preaching. I strive to strike a balance between having enough continuity from week to week that people feel they are in their spiritual “home,” while still utilizing elements of the service to cast a mood and lead the attention to the theme and topic of the service that day.<\/p>\n

Good worship gathers us together in community, leads us to contemplate the big questions in life, allows us to encounter that which is larger than any of us, and helps us see ourselves and the world just a little more clearly. Here we celebrate life, we mourn loss and tragedy, we cast a vision of a world made a little better by our faithful efforts. We come away nourished, reassured, feeling even more strongly that we can and must align ourselves on the side of Love, as individuals and as a people.
